Have you wondered what it would be like to have a consistent practice of yoga and meditation?
This class will help you find your way.

Beginning Monday, April 27th
Sadhana îs a Sanskrit word referring to something that is done by someone who is has devoted themselves to truth. This concept contains the wisdom that – while we can have a knowing of what we most deeply believe is true – it takes consistent practice to actually bring it into our lived experience and way of being.
You will learn a series of movements and breath that you will do each morning for 40 days. This practice is designed to wake you up and set alignment, intention, and energy for the day. Class will be structured to move between live interactive learning, times where you try the practices on your own (or with the video), and then returning back together again so that you can share your experience, ask questions, make refinements, and then go a next step deeper. This will help you make your yoga practice your own.
You will be learning a practice and you will be learning how to practice. With the support of the cohort, teacher, and structure of class, you will learn what it is like to stay with yourself over time through a process of change. We will hold the shared intention of waking up to our own lives - being present, awake, grateful, and intentional. You will be guided to use it to work with your own body, mind, heart, and energy. We will get to talk about intentions, desires, challenges, doubts, and how essential it is to build a relationship with your body and energy overtime. The connection can help you keep going where you might usually fall away. As you continue past where you otherwise would stop - and in a way that is honoring of you - you will steward yourself to a new level of goodness, presence, and well-being.
The practice you will be learning is a a series of stretches, dynamic movements, and breath that help create the conditions for meditation. As you get more comfortable in the practice, you will also learn how to adjust it to your needs. Expanding it when you have more time, shortening it when time is brief, and elements that you can add on that will make it supportive of your particular goals and needs.
Once the initial meetings are over, you will continue on on your own or in connection with support partners in the group for 40 days. Creating this consistency helps build a groove that will let you access these practices. It also keeps you going through resistance and doubt. There are many different ways to do practice and many different ways to do 40 day practices. For this, we will simply do the 40 calendar days where you practice as many days as you can. If you miss days, thats ok, you’ll just return again. If you would like, you can see if you 40 consecutive days.
The few minutes you take at the beginning of the day will change the course of the entire day.
And–over time–this will change everything.

This schedule is designed to help titrate the experience and build the ability to practice on your own. Plan to practice each day at the same time. These are the dates where we will meet live online. You are also welcome to do this course entirely via recording at whatever time of day serves you.

This will be recorded as a library class.
I don’t guide this live very often. I will be recording this so that it can be part of a library of classes that people can access when they desire. Im looking for a dedicated group of people who would like to go all-in to begin the year and who are willing to have their presence contribute to the recording. We will navigate your privacy so that you don’t have to have your image or voice shared on the recording. However, your questions, experiences, and energy will make this practice available to others.
