We offer a variety of classes to give focus, growth, confidence, connection, and a whole lot of fun. Each class is designed to facilitate the physical, mental, and emotional developmental tasks of the age group. We create an environment of consciousness, creativity, and love, and the option to keep these classes as part of your life for many years. The style of these classes have been refined for 20 years, integrating techniques of body-mind learning with the needs of the day. Since our classes run through the City of Los Angeles, this most excellent program come at a more affordable price.

Parent & Me Yoga & Tumbling • Ages 18 mos to 3 & 2 to 5
Movement develops the body, mind, and healthy sense of self. This class is lighthearted and fun, including age-appropriate yoga and tumbling, creating a deeper bond between caregiver and child. It includes free-play time to play and explore, and circle times that will develop focus. Kids and adults will do poses and stretches that feel great, and kids will learn a new gymnastics skill each day. Every tumbler needs a grown-up helper, but twins and multiples are welcome. This class provides everyone a chance to take a deep breath and take care of their bodies, minds and hearts.
Preschool Gymnastics • Ages 3 & 4
This class is designed to be a student’s first teacher-directed class where they can build comfort, listening, confidence, and the skills to be part of a group. Students learn the foundations of technical gymnastics in a way that is light-hearted & fun. Class begins with child-directed freeplay time where students explore movement naturally. Though it may just look like fun, this part of class is a very important as it creates the foundations for confidence, body awareness, and safety. Next, a teacher directed section of class includes a warm-up, stretch and obstacle course where students develop movement patterns and gymnastics basics, promoting development of the body and brain. For this age group, parents or caregivers are asked to stay in the room. This class is designed from an Attachment Perspective: kids build independence and ability to listen to the teacher while also building connection with the caregiver.
Beginning Gymnastics • Ages 4 & 5
Students learn the foundations of technical gymnastics in a way that is light-hearted & fun. This may be a student’s first class, and then will grow with them for a while, building movement patterns that will lead to safety and easy learning in the future. Class begins with free play time where students can develop movement naturally. Then, a warm-up, stretch and gymnastics events, promoting development of the body and brain. The goal is to learn the basic skills of gymnastics as well as the skills to be in a professional gymnastics class any where in the world. This class also involves a lot of creativity and connection, supporting the growth of curiosity and the understanding of oneself as an important part of the group.
Beginning & Intermediate Gymnastics • Ages 6 - 8
Students practice the foundations of gymnastics and are guided towards challenge and development of new skills. Beginners are welcome and also those with more experience–each person works at their own pace. We will learn and refine basic and intermediate skills of gymnastics and also work on creativity, rhythm and learn detailed routines. Class begins with free play, warm-up and stretch, and then we work on gymnastics events–vault, bars, beam, floor, and dance. Students build confidence, creativity, fun, focus and love of learning.
Beginning & Intermediate Gymnastics • Ages 8 - 11
Students refine the foundations of gymnastics are guided towards the development of new skills. We work on creative movement, rhythm and learn detailed routines. Working in a more advanced way, students are encouraged to study the details of physical and mental technique and become comfortable working in their own bodies and minds. We will begin with free play, warm-up and stretch, and then be divided into two groups to work on gymnastics events. Awareness, confidence, creativity, fun and focus are the goals. At this age group, learning of mental tools becomes as important as physical tools as students learn to work wisely with any difficulty that arises.
INTERMEDIATE/Advanced GYMNASTICS • AGES 8 - 11
This class is for students who have mastered their basic skills. To be in this class, you must have your handstand, both side cartwheels, and be able to hold a pike pull up for 10 seconds. From there, we will work on: kick overs, front and back handsprings on floor, pull overs, circles, dismounts and kips on the bar, and cartwheels, jumps & leaps on the beam. Working in a more advanced way, students are encouraged to study the details of physical and mental technique and become comfortable working in their own bodies and minds. Awareness, confidence, creativity, fun and focus are the goals. At this age group, learning of mental tools becomes as important as physical tools as students learn to work wisely with any difficulty that arises.
Homeschool Gymnastics • Ages 5 - 10
This daytime class combines exercise and education in a style that emphasizes mutual respect, curiosity, and the power of information and play. This class is all levels and the focus will be on the process of learning. Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace and engage skillfully with challenges and joys in their body, mind and emotions. Students will learn about their body, health and the sport of gymnastics while developing strength, flexibility, balance and focus. This class is a great match for homeschool philosophies and schedules, but you don't have to be a homeschooler to join.
Gymnastics & Ninja • ages 7 - 11
This class is based on a foundation of focus and strength. Kids will cultivate sensory awareness, group awareness, and be encouraged to push the edges of strength, concentration, intensity, confidence and trust. Class begins with a grounding and orienting exercise to get kids into their bodies and sensory systems, then warm-up and stretching, then an American Ninja obstacle course, followed by an element of technique. Great for high-energy kids, this class supports students in finding their own ways to move and work with gravity and flow while also learning to receive coaching and ideas.
Family Gym • AGES 5 & Up and their parents
Did you know that movement through space is one of the healthiest things you can do for your physical, mental, and emotional health? AND this locomotor acrobatic movement does not have to be difficult for you to get the benefits. This class is designed for parents to have fun learning along side their kids and families to bond in a way that is tremendous fun. Class is one-half Movement Basics for the Body & Mind, and one-half open gym time where participants can practice and play. The teacher will give guidelines for safety and each week will set up for different sorts of skills.
Gymnastics • Level 1 & 2 - By Invitation ONly
This invitational class is for young gymnasts (5 - 8) with a higher skill level who want to train in a more serious way. Focused technique is combined with social connection, playfulness and creativity. This class is similar to a pre-team workout and supports gymnasts who may want to transition to a competitive team. Kids will be divided into groups for parts of class and levels star, 1 & 2 will be studied. Positive family support of the gymnast, teachers and program become even more important in this class. Through a sense of value and respect, kids learn the beauty of gymnastics as an art, a sport and a practice for living. Please be sure to dress appropriately to support this more professional practice. Current enrollment in the program is required before joining this class.
Gymnastics & Artistry • Level 2 & 3 - By Invitation ONly
This class takes gymnastics back to its roots as a study of life through physics, rhythm and emotion. Students will practice higher level skills, learn more detailed routines, and also stretch themselves through choreography and creative movement. This class is similar to a pre-team workout and supports gymnasts who may want to transition to a competitive team. Positive family support of the gymnast, teachers and program become even more important in this class. Through a sense of value and respect, kids learn the beauty of gymnastics as an art, a sport and a practice for living.
